I recently spent 2 weeks in Central America. I was bitten by mosquitos at
least two hundred times. It seems everyone (including me) complains about
getting bit. But, there must be some positive benefit that mosquitoes
provide. I couldn't find any positive benefits mentioned in your
archives. The only one I can think of is that they provide food for
certain animals and other insects. Are there any other positive benefits
of mosquitoes? Everything has a purpose. What is the purpose of
mosquitoes?
