The question is two fold here;
1. Are hormones responsible for the appearance of a dominant ( usually
male ) fish in a batch of tank raised cichlid fry ? If so which hormone(s)
and by what/which pathway(s) ?
2. Are hormones responsible for the stunting of an entire batch of fry in
tank raised fish ? If so which one(s) and by what/which pathway(s) ?
TIA Simon
