Thank you for the question. Anthropology is the science or study of humans. Anthropology is basically divided into cultural and biological subdisiplines. Cultural Anthropology studies variation and evolution of culture (religion, social structure, political structure...) through time and across space. Cultural Anthropology includes the areas of Ethnology, Archaeology, and Anthropological Linguistics. Biological Anthropology studies the human being as a biological organism. Human biological evolution and human variation through time and across space are the general areas of biological anthropologists. Concentrations of study with Biological Anthropology include Human Evolution, Primatology, Genetics... You can find much more information by checking out basic anthropology textbooks from your library or ordering them from your interlibrary loan program.
