Show me a quantum theory of gravity, and I'll tell you the answer.
Gravitons, unlike photons have been postulated but not yet found or
proven. The task of a large number of theoretical physicists is to find a
way of uniting quantum theory (which predicts gravitons) with general
relativity. Superstring theory is a good, but as yet unproven, candidate
for a theory of everything. Perhaps when a theory of gravitons exists, I
will know the answer.
