I have run out of ideas as to how to explain the relationship between
binary code and 2's to some power to one of my students. I used the
analogy of adding more switches; and by increasing the number of switches,
the more combinations you will have. I have tried several other
analogies. However, the student still does not grasp this concept.
Can you give me some ideas that might help?
