I read an answer from Erich Roth (graduate students; 1997 Washington University)concerning the rotation of the Earth causing tiolets to flush c/w in the N. hemisphere. This is hogwash! Toilets, or sinks, drain much too quickly for the Coriolis Effect to effect their spin! Besides, the shape, jets, and particles in the bowl determine the spin. Please, if people know anything about physics and are somewhat intelligent do not continue to spew this rubbash as part of our acedamia.
Re: Why do people says the rotation of Earth causes tiolets to spin differently
