Some believe that life originated on Mars and that Earth was seeded with
life from Marian meteorites. But what about our other neighbour planet,
Venus? Why doesn't anyone mention Venus in this context? Today, Venus is
too hot for life, but if Mars once had water and an atmosphere, then
perhaps Venus hasn't always been as hot as it is today? If we want to look
for the origin of life outside Earth, is there any reason why Mars is a
more likely place to look than Venus?
