Subject: Can the view of different colours influence changes in the brain?

I'm looking for a theme to develop in my extend essay. I would like to 
know if the view of different colours can influence our brain. 
I would like to know if there are some biological changes  in the brain or 
in the body. I know that some studies had been done. So I would like to know if 
the colour therapy can be considered a serious base for my extended essay 
and if there are some other links of real effect on the body and not only 
at psychological level.
