Message:
I was told that if I tie a steel or iron nail onto the positive wire of a
DC converter, and submerged that with the other wire into a saltwater
solution, that I would get rust. I tried it and what I appear to have
gotten is a black granular solution. Is this rust? or some other oxide?
Thanks for all the help.
