Subject: How does a coin operated pool sort the cue ball and the colored balls?

On a coin operated pool table the cue almost always comes out one hole and
the colored balls goes back into the table. This question has been
bugging me for quite a while and I have searched everything. I have
mainly found information on how the game uses math and physics. Thanks If
you can answer my question.
