Well I looked and looked for safety data tha tcould actually find Teflon to be harmful but I just couldnt find anything that tells me it is.....which I guess is why it's apllied to well nearly everything you can imagine these days. The only harmful thing I could find is that if you heat a frying pan coated with Teflon to about 400 degress then the smoke coming from the burnt pan could kill your pet birds, but almost definately not kill mammals and humans.

Oh but I guess I should mention that some people will be allergic to products no matter how safe they might be so really you can only try them and find out, thats why most cosmetics have the warning on the back, to "discontinue if irritation occurs".
