Denni:

The short answer to you question is: I don't know. I have done some
checking and have come up short on these two structures. However, I have
some suggestions.

As I am sure you are aware, it is possible for a structure to look
uncannily astroblemic and yet not be an impact structure. It is necessary
to have some hard, geologic evidence. I suggest that you contact the
geology or earth-science departments at the universities in the eastern
part of Canada, and also the Canadian Geological Survey. These are the
organizations most likely to be able to answer your questions. There are
also some amateur organizations that are interested in impact structures.
These groups, which are easily found if you do a web search for meteorite
or impact, may have some information about these two localities.

I am sorry that in the time available I couldn't find definitive answers
for you.

Good luck,
David Kopaska-Merkel
