Easy, and a grad student can't work this out ???

For a capacitor charge Q= capacitance C times voltage between the plates V

Q=CV
Let F be the frequency of the switch. I is current.
Then if charge Q flows in time 1/f then I (dq/dt) = fxCxV

And to a first approximation, since i/v= z then z=1/fc
