What modern process have used the lac operon system? I know something 
about it's use to identify recombinants using the bluescript vector by 
blue-white selection,and it may also be used in the Schoepfer vector. Are 
there any other processes which rely on the discovery of this operon? Is 
it used in any other biotech or industrial processes?
