What percentage of DNA is 'unique' in a child, compared to its
mother?

I've heard people say that a fetus has 'unique' DNA completely
different from its parents. I have a hunch that the percentage of
'uniqueness' might be less than 100%.

I've done general searches here and on the web and the closest
answer I can find is the percentage of difference between humans
and chimps, which seems to hover around 3%.
