Message:
when i say 'what causes', i'm thinking 'microscopically'
ie. what exactly
is going on between molecules of the two surfaces
friction having its
effect on. I understand about the friction coefficient bein
g different for
differents combinations of surfaces, but i'm interested in
why exactly this
is. thanks.
