I want to duplicate measurements made about 100 years ago and would like to 
know how the original measurements were made.  Reference to an original 
description would be great.  I understand that measurements would need to be 
made 6 months apart and probably from different locations on earth.  Any 
help will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
