Message:

If Source A emits a sound wave towards Source B and vice versa, if an
observer behind Source B (who is unable to measure Source B from his
position) receives the sound wave from Source A, will that sound wave be
measurably distorted by the sound wave from Source B? If so, is this also
true for light waves? If so, how is this distortion taken into
consideration when calculating stellar distance based upon redshift? i.e.
If Source A shines a green spotlight at me, and I shine a red spotlight
directly at Source A, what color light will I see coming from Source A?
