Paula,
I had to look up yor question in CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.  
What you are look for is under Thermodynamic Properties of Alkane 
Hydrocarbons.  My CRC is edition Number 61, and the answer is on page D-
103 in that edition.

Cp is the heat capacity at constant pressure.  So to answer your question, 
C is the heat Capacity, and the p is Pressure.
