I'm beginning an architecture project to design a time capsule. I want to have the time capsule actually be a satellite protected from man in outer space. The idea is to include a full map of the human genome, and use the capsule as a vessel to hold samples of human dna. Can this be done with the technology we have now, or will have in the next ten years. I am also curius as to wether satellites can be brought back to earth safely without the use of a space shuttle. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
Re: How would human dna be stored for 1000 years in an orbiting satellite?
