The belly button or navel is a scar that is left after the
umbical cord is cut at the moment of birth. The umbilical cord is
the connection between the mother and the unborn baby. Through
it, oxygen and nutrients flow from the mother to the child.
So no matter how much you handle your belly button---it won't
fall off!
