I have tried to understand what my teacher says but all he has said is 
manipulative varibles mean change and responding varibles mean results. I 
don't understand this particulaly when I read experments and they don't use 
this meaning the same way. He says I just don't get it but I don't think he 
is explaining it right or I am just not smart enough to understand as he 
said. Please let me know in a clear way i can understand if you can. Thank
