Light as an electromagnetic wave is transduced by cones & rods of retina
through the optic nerve, optic tract, lateral geniculate body, and finally
reach the calcarine fissure (medial aspect of occipital lobe) which also
known as area 17. From here, signal is sent to area 18 & 19 that surround
area 17.
Feeling such as anger and fear is "modulated" in septum pellucidum and
amygdala respectively. These two components are part of the human limbic
system located between midbrain and forebrain.
Whereas the depth of perception, judgement and morality are controlled by
many areas in frontal lobe.
