For a math project we were looking at making a projectile launcher that
measured 6' long with an inside barrel diameter equal to a tennis ball and
a thickness of 1". However the machinists in town can not obtain aluminum
that thick, instead they can only get 1/4". Would this be strong enough to
not buckle under atleast 1000 psi?
