I am using the Standard Methods for analysis of water and wastewater. I
have read and followed procedures and am stuck on the calculations. It
says to standardize the .01 M EDTA solution against the calcium standard
(1000ppm) and use the results for B in the formula. I understand this,
and I did the titration with a calcium standard, but I do not know where
or how to calculate B in the equation. A x B x 400.8/mL of sample.
A= ml of EDTA titrant
B = mg CaCO3 equivalant to 1mL EDTA solution.
