If I were in outer space in an elevator traveling at near light speed
velocity could I tell my velocity by mounting a lazer on the cieling shining
down with a mirror reflecting up and measuring the red shift from the lazer
compared to the blue shift from the mirror. If I were in the middle I could
measure each way.
