on television shows and movies they show the person who is revived by 
artificial respiration always "comes to" coughing, whether they have been 
in a near drowning or not. wouldn't that person be more likely to sharply 
inhale, rather than cough and sputter? Is that just a more dramatic way to 
illustrate the person's revival, or do they actually do that (cough,etc.)?
