If I took some old radioactive lantern mantles that were dipped in thorium
sulutions, burn them into an ash, then add zinc sulfide, mix it up, would
it glow in the dark? Do radioactive lantern mantles have enough activity
to cause a phosphorescent material to emit light, like zinc sulfide?
