MadSci Network: Physics |
Hi ! I read all the answers on the subject, already on MadSci, as well as a number of connected articles and answers on other sites. In all of them there seems to be some kind of a problem. On the one hand there are those that talk about the proof of the existance of gravitons by an abservation of two orbiting pulsars, a few years ago, which get closer as predicted a long time ago in theory, due to the emmitance of gravitons (real ones having mass-energy - not virtual). On the other hand there are the articles about Black Holes which claim that gravitons are virtual particles (and even if they weren't it could be that gravity of a Black Hole may come from before it was created - which is illogical to claim anyway - if gravitons are real). If gravitons are indeed prooved real and on the other hand it is immpossible to explain how a Black Hole has gravity (since no mass-energy can escape the event horizon) than it should simply be said to be so and a new theory is to be sought after, instead of having various physicsts seemingly ignore each other's dicoveries and publications. Thank you.
