Subject: What is the effect of zinc on plants, and why does it act as it does?

i have undertaken an investigation into the effect of zinc (concentrations : 
0.1, 1, 10 ,100 mg/l.) i would like to know what you would expect the results 
to be (roughly) please, and also i wondered if you wouldhave some background 
information on why the cress responds as it does.  i know it is to do with 
enzymes, i just cannot find out what.  if you could hellp i would be very 
grateful, as i am completely stuck, thank you.
