I'm doing paper chromatography, and I need some examples of polar chemicals that
will separate the colors of fingernail polish. The problem is the sample wont
move/separate. I've already attempted to separate them with ammonia and
fingernail polish remover and nither were successful. If you can help me and
it's at all possible I'd like for the chemicals you suggest to be easily
available (like the house hold ammonia and nail polish remover were). thank you!
