The question came up in our office as to whether an electric charge (electric 
current) flowed through a copper wire or whether it flowed along the surface of 
the wire.  [In various applications a solid vs many wires are called for.]  
Thanks.  P.S.  I think the current flows through the wire, not the outer 
molecules of it's surface.  Thank you.
