Hi Christina,
I know what it is like trying to wade through a sea of information
so maybe I can point you to a good site to find exactly what you want. I
would suggest you try a site called All the Virology on the
Worldwide Web cause it has links to lots of information life cycles
and and therapies as well as electron micrographs. You can search by
specific viruses, in your case Varicella zoster virus (VZV-1) AKA Human
Herpes Virus-3 (HHV-3). Just in case I suggest you check out this journal
in your science library if you can find it; Infections in Medicine vol. 15
(10):pg 709-713, 1998 by Paul J. Lee called "Current Management of Herpes
Zoster." There will also be references to other papers in the
bibliography that you can look up for more info. Web resources like
the one above are good because they link to evidence based information.
But, I really recommend you get information from journals like the one I
recommended or something like the New England Journal of Medicine because
they are more trustworthy sources and up to date. Good luck on the paper,
Mark
