The computer uses only two kinds of indata: 1 (for higher voltage) and 0 (for
less voltage), this have everyone been told. A metephore is the telegraph which
also, one say, uses only short and long signals. But this isn´t really true - as
a telegraphist you wouldn´t be able to understand if someone sended you a long
series of short and long signals - you have to pause between one letter and the
next! Who does the computer now how to seperate one sign from the next??
Would be thankful for an answer!!
