we were discussing the properties of glass and how you can substitute potassium
for sodium in some glasses to make it stronger. a student asked how they make
things like bulletproof glass, shatterproof glass (windshields) and
plexiglass. we wondered what the chemical composition of these different
materials would be. i couldn't find anything in your archives. thanx.
