Dear fellow,

I assume that you want to ask about asthma. Regarding asthma, a complete cure is not possible in the majority of cases. That is if one is expecting any medication that will help him get rid of asthma then there is no such medication documented in modern medicine. What we can achieve is control. The asthmatic patient often has to be dependant on medicine almost all his life. But it does not mean that there will not be periods when he is not on medication. Some preventive measures help in avoiding acute exacerbation, like finding out what exactly causes acute exacerbation, i.e. finding out specific allergens for which the person might be hypersensitive. Exercise usually exacerbates asthma, but swimming is an exception.Swimming actullay helps in avoiding exacerbation. Some of the world class swimmers were known asthmatics and they started swimming as therapeutic measure against asthma. Stress is another cause of exacerbation of asthma. If one learns to effectively deal with stress then one can prevent exacerbation of asthma. If you want to ask any thing else than asthma then ask your question again. Regards
