A funny thing happened to me when I was at a cafe. I noticed that the person who
was handling my food was taking apart a smoke detector, for some reason or other,
maybe curiosity. I have noticed before that smoke detectors have a label that
says radioactive. I am wondering if it is possible to remove the radioactive
substance somehow and contaminate objects that you touch, including food. I am
concerned because this guy obviously didn't know what he was doing! I should
have asked him about it but I didn't really think about the consequences until
later.
