for you.  However, you should know that there are many options for 
biologists in your area:

If you are interested in conservation biology or ecology, you could call 
the closest zoo and talk to one of theri biologists.

If you are more interested in molecular biology, the largest US 
biotechnology company, called AMGEN is located in Thousand Oaks.  You can 
find contact information for either of these on their web sites with a 
simple search.
