Over the summer, my family has left our backyard pool unattended and as a result various little ceatures have developed. I decided to take a closer look at a certain group of animals in the water. After some research, I've come to believe that they are fairy shrimp. Their characteristics match those I've read about. However, I haven't heard of specific cases in which these creatures inhabited human swimming pools. Is this normal? Is it possible these are indeed fairy shrimp?
