Re: How do you make brown from red, green, and blue light?

There are RGB color identity charts all over the web, as well as on most computer operating systems. The reason being that many web designers like to choose very specific colors for their pages, and HTML requires custom colors to be entered in RGB (Red : Green : Blue) format. Here is one page that I liked for its more interesting color names:

The author defines "Brown" as 165:42:42 RGB. I find this to have far too much red for a true brown, which should be closer to orange in hue. I would prefer to use something like 139:80:14 RGB, demonstrated below:
