Looking at your experiment, the weather has two factors temperature and 
humidity level. It would be hard to find information on a factor so basic.  
Insects are cold blooded animals, and as such require warmer temperatures to 
move around. So of course warmer days will result in more bugs flying around 
and cooler days would keep the insects sitting still waiting for a warmer 
day. But, I don't know exactly what "hot" and "cooler" means. You would need 
to use a thermometer to better identify the temperature. Humidity would be 
another factor. The weatherman usually reports this on T.V. or the local 
paper.
