Looking at your experiment, the weather has two factors temperature and humidity level. It would be hard to find information on a factor so basic. Insects are cold blooded animals, and as such require warmer temperatures to move around. So of course warmer days will result in more bugs flying around and cooler days would keep the insects sitting still waiting for a warmer day. But, I don't know exactly what "hot" and "cooler" means. You would need to use a thermometer to better identify the temperature. Humidity would be another factor. The weatherman usually reports this on T.V. or the local paper.
