I am a teacher and this question was asked of me when we were discussing mixtures. I think the answer depends on what type of gasoline you are referring to. If gasoline is considered an emulsion, than it would be heterogeneous. If it is considered a "pure" solution, than it would be homogeneous. If its hetereogeneous, then how could all of our cars run on it? We would have to clean out our gas tanks....Would appreciate any input.
