Area of science: Genetics
Since the crossing-over phenomena of meosis allows chunks of the genome to
move about, could one theoretically selectively breed animals to make a trait
sex-linked that was not previously sex-linked?
More importantly, has anyone ever attempted this experiment, to prove or
disprove the hypothesis?
