In each human cell there are 46 chromosomes. 22 pairs and the x and the y
chromosome possibility. Chromosome thirteen refers to the thirtheenth
pair of chromosomes in the human cell. Everyone has two of these
chromosomes. The difference between a boy and a girl is that the girl has
two X chromosomes for the 23 pair where a boy has one x and one y for the
thwenty-third pair.

I hope this helps you with your project.

Michael Watson
