I have ten NP-1 NiCad broadcast batteries that will no longer charge past a
certain point, and therfore will last only a short time in use. Is there any
hope that I could somehow "erase" their memory (which I understand to be the
collection of particles) and restore them to full power? I have tried full
discharge (down to 0 volts) and then recharging. . .it didn't work. Can
I "zap" 'em somehow to bring them back to full utility. Or is it the trash can
for $1000.00 worth of batteries?
