Is there any way to change the frequency and ultimatly the color of a red laser
after it has left the laser cavity. I am in the 8th grade and I am using a
normal red laser pointer. I do not want to have to take apart the laser and
replace the lasing medium. I would never get it back together. It has an all
metal shell and I would have to cut it. If you can think of no other way but
to do this please tell me anyways. I am very capable. I was thinking that
there may be a substance that can alter the frequency of the beam by merely
shining the beam on or into the substance. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
