When rainwater falls on the salty ocean water, do they mix or does one float on
the other? In the Bahamas, I understand they get their drinking water from deep
blue holes in the sea floor. Does this imply that freshwater sinks and
saltwater is more bouyant? (Or what other explanation is there for the
accumulation of freshwater in blue holes?)
