My son is studying classification in his 6th grade Science class and asked an 
interesting question today that his teacher could not answer.  If all plants 
are autotrophic (make their own food), why are Venus flytraps considered plants 
if they rely on other organisms for food.  Also, could you please give the 
complete scientific classification for venus flytraps (kingdom, phyla, class, 
order, family, class, genus)?  Thank for your help!
