If you connect 2 charged capacitors together with opposite polarity, 
current WILL flow between them, and if they are of the same value and 
charged to the same voltage, the charges will cancel each other, resulting 
in zero charge in both capacitors, the energy having been dissipated as 
heat in the wires and internally in the capacitors.
