I have seen an upside down map of the world, and it looks really bizarre and
awkward. The world seems to be unbalanced and all the major rivers seem to run
from the ocean to the mountains. Why are our perceptions so distorted when we
see images upside down? Also, a map that is not labeled upside down seems
completely normal... Why does that occur? Can I get some relevant references
to my question as well?
